Home business owners forget that on the other side of the transaction are human beings. And those human beings have expectations. Are you meeting them? Not sure? Then you might want to read this article. Failure to meet the expectations of our market can lead to dire consequences. One of them is the loss of income. In fact, if expectations aren’t met, it can result in no income at all.
In order to understand meeting expectations, one has to place ones self in the shoes of their target market. So let’s use a hypothetical example of somebody going to a movie theater to watch a movie. What would be the expectations of somebody doing this?
Well, for starters, they expect the movie itself to entertain them. Now, while this part if beyond the control of the movie theater itself, ultimately, the theater takes the hit if the movie is a bomb. People walk out and don’t come back to see it again. In fact, if that particular movie theater shows too many duds, they may lose a lot of potential business.
But the quality of the movie isn’t all. Patrons also expect the movie to be shown without any glitches. Remember the old days when you’d go to see a movie and the film would break? It doesn’t happen much anymore, but still…if it did, patrons would not be too happy. They expect to see the movie from start to finish without any glitches.
There’s more though. Somebody going to a movie expects the seats to be clean and not all sticky from somebody spilling their drink from the last showing. So yes, they expect the theater to be cleaned regularly. They also have expectations regarding food. Probably the most enjoyment one gets out of seeing a movie is being able to sit there watching it with a big bag of popcorn or a box of their favorite candy. Imagine going to a theater and it not having a concession stand. It would be unthinkable.
Point is, when you DO go to see a movie, you have all these expectations, and more, including rest rooms, ample parking and so on. If you sat down to think about all the things you expected when going to a movie, it would amaze you. Well, your prospects have the same expectations of YOUR business…whatever it is.
So what YOU need to do is put yourself in the place of one of your prospects and ask yourself this question. “What do my prospects expect?”
Until you can answer that completely, you can never run a successful home business.

The Film and theater business is mainly about contacts. There are lucky few established actors who have agents and other contacts who fish them roles on a regular basis.
But for the majority of people who have training in this field and want to make a niche in this area, online resume is the best way to provide a two-dimensional presentation and help them to find their right place. It is also the best medium for those people who have no experience of acting or have not been able to work beyond acting schools.
Online resumes generally include information about the vital statistics and education of the person. If the applicant has earlier been exposed to any form of acting either in films, stage or television, then this work experience should definitely be shown. Details of the work such as the production house, the director etc. should be mentioned.
Also the type of role such as, supporting role, guest appearance etc.should be highlighted to convey versatility.
The resume must include all the skills that the applicant has acquired, such as the various languages known. Other skills include voice over training, voice coaches, acting classes, monologue training, stand up comedy and so on. The teachers and coaches’ name should also be mentioned, as many of the trainers have a strong reputation.
Finally, there has to be a photo gallery which includes pictures of the production work in which the applicant has featured. The ideal thing is to have photographs of both on-shoot as well as off-shoot. A video clip can also be attached. The first Plasma to knock in the TV market was a 42-inch screen with a price tag of $12000. At that time, the Plasma technology was fairly new and has not gained supporters as compared to the market they have set now. LCDs on the other hand were 32 inch flat screens and are far behind the Plasma modernization.
Different TV manufacturers noticed the possible competition and the possible trend for home TV viewing. The emerging competition caused the different brands to come up with their own improved technology and so various TV models have popped out and prices started to drop.
It became common knowledge then that initial prices of newly introduced TV models and versions are steep. The manufacturer still hopes to get back their development cost and so they need to introduce new series at higher values. Likewise, they would also want to make a good amount out of their initial investment so a beefy price tag must be paired with the product. They wouldn’t let competitor’s product get the top place in the high-end product ladder.
But there are several reasons why the prices dropped greatly. First, competitors have emerged and they have to go with the flow of the market in order to maintain a place in the high-end TV industry. Another is the fact that manufacturing methods became less expensive.
So you see, not every plasma is created in the same way. There are obvious inequalities in the Plasma TV market. Prices have major difference probably because of the brand. This may be a good consideration since some cheap brands do have quality products.
The other difference is in the kind of technology applied. There are actually two technologies used for plasma television resolution. One is the enhanced definition and the other is the high definition. Those who own an enhanced definition Plasma TV may not experience the kind of image quality offered by high definition devices. Signals sent in high definition format will be received in only an enhanced format.
High definition technology, on the other hand, has a minimum width of 720 pixels. Bigger monitors usually have more pixel counts in order to produce a crisp and sharp image. Usually there are 1040 up to 1365 pixels for a good image quality to be noticeable.
So remember prices are not really the basis of the image resolution and picture quality that you are looking for. The brand may not really matter in the end. Overall, what matters most are the actual specifications of the TV unit. Go for the high-definitions type if your country supports that signal. You may spend a little more in HDTV LCDs than in an enhanced definition Plasma TV but in the end, you’ll enjoy more benefits in a long period if you would prefer the former over the latter.
